Altruism Lab — Applied Research for Sentient Welfare
Altruism Lab is an early-stage applied research institution for altruism projects — beginning with sentient welfare, specifically animal welfare. The Lab researches, tests, and measures interventions, and scales only when the evidence supports it.
Our Work
Two programs in development on one research and measurement foundation: Factory Farm Exit, a supply-side program researching voluntary asset-retirement and managed-transition mechanisms; and 100 Million Meals, a demand-side program working toward a long-term target of 100 million transitioned institutional meals a year. Verified to date: none.
Impact Ledger
The Lab publishes verified outcomes, leading indicators, and targets in separate tiers, with sources and update dates — including the zeros.
Fellowship
Applications are open for the founding cohort of Altruism Fellows — outcome-oriented contributors who work on specific problems and build a public Impact Portfolio.
